Why we're structured this way
Most small firms buying AI face a bad pair of options: a solo consultant who becomes the bottleneck for every build and every fix, or an agency that delivers on its own platform and keeps the keys. We built a third structure. The practice owns the method — the scoping discipline, the guardrail architecture, the quality gates, all of it developed on our own running systems — and delivery scales through specialists who build to that standard. You get a firm's capacity with a fixed-scope engagement's accountability.
What our quality gates actually check
Scope discipline
No build starts until week 1 has produced a written definition of "working" in your numbers and confirmed the workflow clears the value bar. If it doesn't, we stop and refund the deposit — the specialist doesn't bill for a build that shouldn't happen.
The guardrail architecture
Every agent ships with a human approval step on anything that reaches a customer or spends money — the same amber node in every workshop diagram. A build without the gate doesn't pass review, full stop.
Ownership from day one
The system is built in accounts you control — never the specialist's, never ours. Review checks that every credential, prompt, and configuration is yours before week 4 begins.
The handover set
Engagements close with a named deliverable list: the working agent, plain-English documentation your next hire could follow, and a recorded maintenance walkthrough. The practice signs off on the handover, not the builder.
Who the specialists are
Professionals who build agentic systems on the leading AI platforms — tools like Claude and ChatGPT — vetted against the standard we hold our own builds to, and matched to your engagement by business type and stack. Your specialist is named at kickoff and stays your builder for the whole engagement; the practice stays your point of contact and your escalation path. We're deliberately selective — the network grows as qualified specialists clear vetting, not on a hiring schedule — and per the no-fake-numbers pledge, we'll publish specialist and engagement counts only when they're real numbers worth publishing.
What stays constant no matter who builds
The price you were quoted. The week-by-week structure of the First AI Win. The approval-gate architecture. The ownership guarantee. And the accountability: if anything about an engagement isn't right, you raise it with us and we fix it — you're a client of the practice, not of a marketplace.
What this means as you grow
Your second and third agents don't wait on one person's calendar. The engagement standard means any specialist in the network can extend a system another one built — because documentation and client ownership are enforced deliverables, not favors. That's also your insurance: nothing about your system depends on any individual, including us.
