About

Built by business owners, not developers. That's the point.

useai.coach is the coaching arm of LOWER, a small US holding company that runs its products the way we'll teach you to run yours: by directing AI in plain English, with hard rules about verification, approval, and ownership. This practice exists because the method turned out to be teachable — and because almost everyone selling "AI for small business" has never run a small business on it.

The short version

A few years ago we were where most owners are now: certain AI mattered, unimpressed by what a chat window did for the actual week. What changed everything wasn't a better model — it was treating AI as a workforce to be managed instead of an oracle to be consulted. Written rules. Scheduled jobs. Verification before anything gets recorded. A human gate before anything ships. Nothing deleted, everything owned.

With that method, a business with no developers can build real systems. The proof is on this site: a working software product in private beta, a 260-page bilingual website run by content agents, an agentic prospecting system in build for the landscape industry, and the operations system that runs our own week. Statuses labeled honestly, including what broke.

Why this shape

Because the gap in the market is embarrassingly specific. Fractional Chief AI Officers serve companies with executives to brief, at $5,000–$30,000 a month. Free workshops teach "what is AI." Agencies sell dependency. Nobody scopes a working agent with an owner-run business at a fixed price and hands over the keys. That's the entire business — and it's built to scale without breaking that promise: the practice owns the method and the accountability, vetted specialists deliver the builds, and every engagement passes the same quality gates. The delivery model, in full.

What we believe (and the site enforces)

  • Proof over promises — our own systems are the portfolio, and client results appear only when they're real, dated, and attributed. The pledge.
  • The human stays at the gate — unsupervised customer contact is the classic failure mode, and we won't build it.
  • You own everything — accounts, prompts, documentation. End the engagement anytime; the system stays.
  • Vendor-neutral — we coach on mainstream tools like ChatGPT and Claude with no affiliate deals and no platform of ours to rent.

Who's behind useai.coach

Simon Brown, founder. Simon runs LOWER, the holding company behind every system in the workshop — and he's a business owner, not a developer. Everything on this site that says "we build and run our own systems" traces back to builds he directed in plain English: the ops-coaching product, the 260-page bilingual site, the prospecting agent, the daily operations system. That's the background the coaching comes from — an owner who has actually run a small business on AI, not a consultant reselling a framework.

The businesses behind the coaching

useai.coach is part of LOWER — the same small holding company behind every system in the workshop. That structure matters to you for one reason: this isn't consulting between gigs. The systems referenced in your engagement are systems we have to live with every morning — which keeps the advice honest in a way no certification can.
